The irony is that states and federal govt are addicted to tobacco tax revenues… they really cant afford to ban it, or even take a hard stand against tobacco.

Clearly this picture of Obama is really old he looks really young in this picture, I dont think he still smokes this looks like this was before he had children, for all you he is setting a bad example for kids, and on another note how many of us new he smoked before coming to this site?? so its not like he’s at the podium addressing the nation with a pack of newports, I mean c’mon Like DUH!

smoking is a terrible habit, but dont we all have bad habits? all of us have our addictions, whether it be video games, alcohol, shopping. just choose your poison. to everyone its something else and you all need to respect freewill. most smokers (if not all) know it will possibly kill them one day but it is their choice to do it. some people choose to go into debt for a gambling addiction or even a shopping addiction. every person should have right to do whatever it is they choose to do, whether it has a horrible effect on them or not. most of us im sure live in America and we have a thing called freedom here, respect it.

Well. If you guys want to get on your high horse about smoking, go ahead.

But if someone is around you, smoking, just tell them to take it outside. I don’t hate smoking. It relaxes, and if people want to hurt themselves, they can. but REALLY!?

Smoking DOES effect other people, about 54,000 American’s die each year due to second-hand smoke. Yes smoking is a “choice”, but is it still a choice when you want to quit? Not so much. You become a slave to these big tobacco manufacturing companies. It’s no surprise that every minute 10,000,000 cigarettes are purchased worldwide. Just proves to show that the cigarette companies have you wrapped around their pretty little finger.
